Robber's Row
10 Clubhouse Drive, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928
Notable golf architect Pete Dye works his magic on the original George W. Cobb and William C. Byrd design and delivers what is considered to be the most scenic course of the Port Royal threesome. Cutting through beautiful magnolias and live oaks almost makes one forget the course still requires a certain level of accuracy.
Highlighted by a challenging quartet of excellent par-three holes, water hazards on several holes and greens well protected by bunkers, Robber’s Row is an excellent course for intermediate golfers. Players will also notice historical markers at tee boxes; the course sits atop what was once an important location in the Civil War.
