Deep Well Project

The Hilton Head Island Deep Well Project is a 51-year old charity founded to help people on the island get safe drinking water in a time before there was a Town of Hilton Head and infrastructure was spotty and slowly coming online. Fast-forward 50 years and the charity continues to meet the basic needs of residents of our area experiencing a crisis or challenge. From a 5-day-a-week food pantry to emergency rent/mortgage or utility payments to critical nature home repairs, Deep Well is often the safety net for our community's most vulnerable residents. MISSION: Through services and advocacy, Deep Well partners with neighbors in need to create a bridge to self-sufficiency.
